East Brunswick Police Department – Thank you

East Brunswick Police Department was amazing! Yesterday an employee of Friendly Electric Heating & Air required emergency medical treatment while driving. Through the 911 emergency response system and his cell phone they were able to locate him within minutes of the call. Technology is everywhere we look today, and life is very different than it was just a few years ago. Some would argue that we have lost some of our privacy due to the changes, but yesterday we were extremely grateful for the services that were available to us. Through this advanced technology they are able to locate people who are in need. I couldn’t help but imagine how invaluable this would be for a small child or an injured person unable to speak. When seconds matter, this technology is truly a lifesaver. Thank you to the East Brunswick Police Department and especially to the officers who responded. It is a comfort to know that there are both individuals out there who have committed themselves to helping others and that they are empowered by the technology of today.
